Volunteers will help to spread out and tamp down new trail material to improve the quality of this heavily used trail system. Teams will be using shovels, wheel barrows and tampers to add a level of trail material to improve conditions in this section of our most used Natural Area located in River's Edge NA. Dress accordingly for hot temperatures, closed toed shoes and gloves, and a refillable water bottle is all recommended for this project. We are looking to cap the number of volunteers at 30 people. Site is located at 1st and Taft St. in Loveland. Parking will be at the additional parking area for River's Edge located off 1st street with additional parking behind the gas station along the split rail fence. This project will take place on July 10, 2021 from 9am until noon.
